The camp is conveniently located just after Lemala Gate, within the boundaries of the Crater on the Lemala descent road, which is also utilized as an ascent road. This prime positioning makes it ideal for early morning game drives into the Crater, allowing guests to maximize their wildlife viewing experiences.

Following your exhilarating game drive, return to camp for a delectable lunch prepared by our skilled chefs. Afterward, unwind in the lounge area adjacent to the Mess tent, where you can relax and enjoy a cup of tea amidst the tranquil ambiance of the acacia forest.

For those seeking adventure, we offer sunset walks and hikes along the rim of the crater, with the option to visit a Maasai Boma. Additionally, guided hikes to or around Empakaai crater can be arranged directly from our camp. Rest assured, all nature walks and hikes are conducted in the company of an armed Ranger, ensuring your safety at all times.
