Day 1:
Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
| This 4-day safari commences from Nairobi city. On the first day, following breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be collected by your safari guide who will provide a briefing on the itinerary. Your journey will then take you to Amboseli National Park in Loitoktok, a 4-5 hour drive covering 217 kilometers via the Mombasa route. Along the way, you’ll be treated to numerous scenic vistas. Upon arrival at the park, you’ll be greeted by the majestic sight of Mount Kilimanjaro serving as a breathtaking backdrop. Lunch will be served at one of the lodges within the park, allowing for relaxation after the lengthy drive. In the afternoon, you’ll head to the park’s headquarters for a thrilling game drive. Here, you’ll receive a briefing, be paired with a game guide, and venture into the park’s plains. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its abundance of wildlife, including elephants, impalas, lions, African buffaloes, spotted hyenas, wildebeests, and more, making for easy sightings. Following the exhilarating game drive, you’ll return to your lodge to freshen up, enjoy dinner, and spend the night. |
Day 2:
Amboseli National Park- Tsavo West
| You’ll rise early around 6:00 am to embark on a morning game drive, known for optimal wildlife sightings, especially of predators like lions and cheetahs. Following the game drive, you’ll return to your lodge for breakfast, then check out and begin your journey to Tsavo West with an en-route game drive. The distance from Amboseli to Tsavo West is approximately 200 kilometers, taking about 3 hours to drive. Upon arrival at Tsavo West in time for lunch, you’ll check into your lodge, enjoy your meal, and relax. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary nestled at the base of Ngulia Hills, home to around 80 black rhinos often seen in their natural habitat. After exploring the sanctuary, you’ll return to your lodge to freshen up, have dinner, and spend the night. |
Day 3:
Tsavo West -Tsavo East
| On the third day of the 4-day safari, you’ll start early with breakfast before heading to the park for a morning game drive. During this early excursion, you’ll have the chance to spot a variety of animals, including the eastern black rhinoceros, hippos, African buffalo, and African elephant, among others. Additionally, you’ll visit Mzima Springs, capturing beautiful and memorable photographs. Following the game drive, you’ll depart for Tsavo East. The journey from Tsavo East to Tsavo West covers a distance of approximately 140 kilometers, taking around 2-3 hours. Tsavo East National Park is renowned for its abundant wildlife, particularly its large elephant population.Upon arrival at Tsavo East, you’ll check into your lodge, enjoy lunch, and take some time to rest before embarking on an afternoon game drive. During this drive, you’ll haveyou’ll have the opportunity to observe various animals, including herds of elephants, East African hedgehogs, spotted hyenas, and more. After the game drive, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. |
Day 4:
Tsavo East
| On the final day of your safari, you’ll rise early for another morning game drive, providing another opportunity to observe a variety of animals, including those you may have missed during the previous day’s excursion. Following the game drive, you’ll return to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel and begin the journey back to Nairobi. You’re expected to arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon in time for lunch, after which you’ll be transported to your hotel or the airport, concluding your four-day safari adventure. |
